Honouring Our Rangers on World Ranger Day 31 July. World Ranger Day. A deeply moving moment, as candles were lit in memory of the 148 rangers around the world who lost their lives in the line of duty over the past year. The flames symbolised lives devoted to protecting nature, often in the face of...
10 Laptops, Big Impact! We’re thrilled to share a small but powerful step towards supporting conservation efforts in Maputaland. Thanks to Unilin Insulation – UK & Ireland for donating 10 Dell laptops, and to Ambassador Greig Benson for getting them over to South Africa. These devices are now fully functional and ready for the field!...
Good news for rhino conservation! Rhino poaching in South Africa has dropped significantly, thanks largely to a major dehorning effort at Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park. More than a thousand rhinos were dehorned last year, resulting in nearly a 70% reduction in poaching over the last eight months of 2024.
