Sarah was born in the United Kingdom and moved to South Africa at 21, where she spent 11 years building a deep love affair with the country, its people, and its wild places. Four of her five daughters were born there, making the bush very much part of her family story.
Now based in Australia, Sarah is the founder of Ubuntu Wildlife Trust Australia, a charity rooted in connection, compassion, and community. Her passion for wildlife runs deep — shaped by time spent on her husband’s family property and life married to a veterinarian — though she’s quick to point out her role is less about fieldwork and more about fabulousness. She firmly believes the bush can handle a bit of glamour and has yet to be convinced that khaki is a personality.
First and foremost, Sarah is the fiercely proud mother of five incredible daughters — along with three dogs, four cats, and a flock of chickens — and serves as a Trustee of Ubuntu Wildlife Trust with heart, humour, and a serious commitment to protecting wildlife and wild spaces for generations to come.
