Ubuntu is always proud to support the thin green line. With support from our partners at As Wild As and Unilin Insulation – UK & Ireland, we covered certain security costs for the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Rhino orphanage for a quarter of the year. The orphanage is in an undisclosed location for safety reasons and closed to the public to keep the rhinos with as little human interaction as possible so they can remain wild. It is probably the most important wild rhino orphanage in the most critical rhino reserve globally, and we know the team here works tirelessly without any accolades for the right reasons. It is one of only two rhino orphanages we support due to the effectiveness of what they do, leaving rhinos to live their best lives – and enjoy a simple mudding.
